The Monotony app offers a solution by providing brief, workplace-friendly breaks with enjoyable and fast activities. These activities are designed to be performed anywhere, requiring no equipment, to promote movement during periods of work.

To begin utilizing the app effectively, simply start it when you are preparing to sit, specify the duration of time you anticipate being desk-bound, and the app will automatically generate a schedule of activities within that timeframe. You have the flexibility to adjust the activity intervals and customize settings directly within the app.

Admiral Brett Giroir, Assistant Secretary for Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, highlights that physical activity involves incorporating movement throughout the day as part of a holistic approach to healthy living.
